अपराधों का किया जाना निवारित करने की शक्ति–
हर वन अधिकारी और पुलिस अधिकारी किसी वन विषयक अपराध के किए जाने को निवारित करेगा और उसे निवारित करने के प्रयोजन के लिए हस्तक्षेप कर सकेगा ।

“Power to prevent commission of offence”–
Every Forest-officer and Police officer shall prevent, and may interfere for the purpose of preventing, the commission of any forest-offence.
