कमीशनों का निष्पादन –
कमीशन प्राप्त होने पर मुख्य महानगर मजिस्ट्रेट या मुख्य न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट, अथवा ऐसा महानगर मजिस्ट्रेट या न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट जिसे वह इस निमित्त नियुक्त करे, साक्षी को अपने समक्ष आने के लिए समन करेगा अथवा उस स्थान को जाएगा जहां साक्षी है और उसका साक्ष्य उसी रीति से लिखेगा और इस प्रयोजन के लिए उन्हीं शक्तियों का प्रयोग कर सकेगा जो इस संहिता के अधीन वारंट-मामलों के विचारण के लिए हैं।
धारा 286 CrPC
[ CrPC Sec. 286 in English ] –
“ Execution of commissions ”–
Upon receipt of the commission, the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or Chief Judicial Magistrate, or such Metropolitan or Judicial Magistrate as he may appoint in this behalf, shall summon the witness before him or proceed to the place where the witness is, and shall lake down his evidence in the same manner, and may for this purpose exercise the same powers, as in trials of warrant-cases under this Code.
