तदुपरि प्रक्रिया–
ऐसी किसी रिपोर्ट की प्राप्ति पर मजिस्ट्रेट सब सुविधापूर्ण शीघ्रता से, ऐसे उपाय करेगा जो अपराधी की गिरफ्तारी और विचारण और सम्पत्ति का विधि के अनुसार व्ययन के लिए आवश्यक हों ।

[ Indian Forest Act Section 54 in English ] –
“Procedure thereupon”–
Upon the receipt of any such report, the Magistrate shall, with all convenient despatch, take such measures as may be necessary for the arrest and trial of the offender and the disposal of the property according to law.
