[ Indian Forest Act Section 51 in Hindi ] –
नियम बनाने और शास्तियां विहित करने की शक्ति–
(1) राज्य सरकार निम्नलिखित बातों का विनियमन करने के लिए 1[राजपत्र में अधिसूचना द्वारा नियम बना सकेगी,] अर्थात्ः-
(क) धारा 45 में वर्णित सब इमारती लकड़ी का उद्धारण, संग्रहण और व्ययन,
(ख) इमारती लकड़ी के उद्धारण और संग्रहण के लिए प्रयुक्त नावों का प्रयोग और रजिस्ट्रीकरण,
(ग) ऐसी इमारती लकड़ी के उद्धारण, संग्रहण, स्थानान्तरण, भण्डार में रखने या व्ययन के लिए दी जाने वाली राशियां, और
(घ) ऐसे इमारती लकड़ी को चिह्नित करने के लिए प्रयोग में आने वाले हथौड़े और अन्य उपकरणों का प्रयोग और रजिस्ट्रीकरण ।
2[(1क) इस अधिनियम के अधीन राज्य सरकार द्वारा बनाया गया प्रत्येक नियम बनाए जाने के पश्चात्, यथाशीघ्र, राज्य विधान-मंडल के समक्ष रखा जाएगा ।]
(2) राज्य सरकार इस धारा के अधीन बने किन्हीं नियमों के उल्लंघन के लिए, शास्तियों के रूप में, ऐसी अवधि का कारावास, जो छह मास तक का हो सकेगा, या जुर्माना, जो पांच सौ रुपए तक का हो सकेगा, या दोनों, विहित कर सकेगी ।
भारतीय वन अधिनियम धारा 51
[ Indian Forest Act Section 51 in English ] –
“Power to make rules and prescribe penalties”–
(1) The State Government in make rules to regulate the following matters, namely:
(a) the salving, collection and disposal of all timber mentioned in section 45;
(b) the use and registration of boats used in salving and collecting timber;
(c) the amounts to be paid for salving, collecting, moving, storing or disposing such timber; and
(d) the use and registration of hammers and other instruments to be used marking such timber.
(2) The State Government may prescribe, as penalties for the contravention of any rule made under this section, imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or fine which may extend to five hundred rupees, or both.
