विधिमान्य अनुसमर्थन के लिए ज्ञान अपेक्षित है —
कोई भी विधिमान्य अनुसमर्थन ऐसे व्यक्ति द्वारा नहीं किया जा सकता जिसका मामलों के तथ्यों का ज्ञान तत्त्वतः त्रुटियुक्त हो।

No valid ratification can be made by a person whose knowledge of the facts of the case is materially defective.
