भारतीय संविदा अधिनियम की धारा 166 | Section 166 of Indian Contract act
[ Indian Contract act Sec. 166 in Hindi ] –
बिना हक वाले उपनिधाता को वापस परिदान करने पर उपनिहिती उत्तरदायी न होगा—
यदि उपनिधाता का माल पर कोई हक न हो और उपनिहिती उसके उपनिधाता को या उसके निदेशों के अनुसार सद्भावपूर्वक प्रतिपरिदान कर दे तो उपनिहिती ऐसे परिदान के बारे में उसके स्वामी के प्रति उत्तरदायी नहीं है।
धारा 166 Indian Contract act
[ Indian Contract act Sec. 166 in English ] –
“Bailee not responsible on re-delivery to bailor without title”–
If the bailor has no title to the goods, and the bailee, in good faith, delivers them back to, or according to the directions of, the bailor, the bailee is not responsible to the owner in respect of such delivery.
