जहां वह दावा मंजूर करता है वहां अभिलेख–
यदि वन व्यवस्थापन अधिकारी धारा 12 के अधीन किसी दावे को पूर्णतः या भागतः मंजूर कर लेता है, तो वह उन ढोरों की संख्या और वर्णन, जिन्हें दावेदार समय-समय पर वन में चराने के लिए हकदार हैं, वह ऋतु जिसके दौरान ऐसा चराना अनुज्ञात है, उस इमारती लकड़ी और अन्य वन-उपज का परिमाण जिसे वह समय-समय पर लेने या प्राप्त करने के लिए प्राधिकृत है, और ऐसी अन्य विशिष्टियां, जैसी उस मामले में अपेक्षित हों, विनिर्दिष्ट करके यह भी अभिलिखित करेगा कि कहां तक वह दावा इस प्रकार मंजूर किया गया है । वह यह भी अभिलिखित करेगा कि दावाकृत अधिकारों के प्रयोग द्वारा अभिप्राप्त इमारती लकड़ी या अन्य वन-उपज बेची जा सकेगी या वस्तु-विनियमित की जा सकेगी या नहीं ।

[ Indian Forest Act Section 14 in English ] –
“Record where he admits claim”–
If the Forest Settlement-officer admits in whole or in part any claim under section 12, he shall also record the extent to which the claim is so admitted, specifying the number and description of the cattle which the claimant is from time to time entitled to graze in the forest, the season during which such pasture is permitted, the quantity of timber and other forest produce which he is from time to time authorised to take or receive, and such other particulars as the case may require. He shall also record whether the timber or other forest-produce obtained by the exercise of the rights claimed may be sold or bartered.
